I have often wondered why sellers want to take their homes off the market in the fall. Don’t they realize that there are still buyers out there looking to buy, and in some cases, having to buy? The less inventory available, the greater your odds are of selling. So, why wouldn’t you leave your house on the market or put it on the market?
Imagine John or Jane Doe get transferred to this area for a job and they have 5 days to shop for a home and make a decision and there are only 3 houses in their price point to choose from. Wouldn’t you love it if one of them was yours?
