I know it’s winter and the last thing you are thinking about is gardening and landscaping but this is the perfect time to start planning ahead. You may need to budget for shrubs.

You ‘ve heard the expression; “you only have one chance to make a first impression.” Your landscaping is crucial to making the buyers interested in your property when they drive by. A well manicured lawn and weeded flower beds, demonstrates to the buyer what they might expect to see inside. It shows pride of ownership and attention to detail.

It’s always a great idea to mulch your flower beds and trim your shrubs. And as an added pop of color, plant some colorful annual flowers that don’t require a lot of maintenance like small yellow mums or red geraniums. They will keep down the pests and bugs and stimulate interest from buyers driving by.
